How to Join

Everything you Need to Know about Joining the Powys Society

Please print out the application form, and send it to:

The annual subscription is due on January 1st each year at the rates shown on the application form. The subscription Includes a copy of the current volume of the Society's annual publication, The Powys Journal, as well as three issues of the Society's Newsletter.

WOLF SOLENT

If you join after the annual conference in August/September, your subscription will continue till the end of December of the following year, and you will receive all newsletters from the date of joining. However, you will not receive The Powys Journal for the current year unless you have additionally paid for it at the members' price (see list of publications).

Applicants for UK membership are strongly encouraged to pay their subscription by Standing Order. If you are a UK taxpayer, please help by signing a gift aid declaration as well.

Standing Orders

The great advantage to you is that you will not need to remember to pay your subscription each year; and the great advantage to the Society, and especially to our Treasurer, is that we will not need to send out reminders.

Gift Aid Declarations

Completing a gift aid declaration greatly increases the value of your subscription to the Society at no cost to yourself: the Society is able to reclaim the tax you have paid at the basic rate.
